I don't know what you would have to do to install it in Windows or a Mac. I use Linux, so installing Emacs and then Fountain-Mode is a very easy process.

It also does character CONT'Ds and has a few other nice features. I use Fountain-Mode in Emacs because it auto-completes character names and scene headings and it indents dialogue, so it helps me visualize the script without it being WYSIWYG.
